Robert Pattinson boards Cronenberg's 'Cosmopolis'

'Twilight' thesp to star in futuristic drama

Robert Pattinson has signed on to "Cosmopolis," which David Cronenberg penned and will direct.

Based on the Don DeLillo tome of the same name, story follows a multimillionaire played by Pattinson who risks his entire fortune to bet against the yen on a cataclysmic day.

Cronenberg will also produce along with Paulo Branco. Renee Tab will exec produce.

Pattinson is slowly trying to break away from his "Twilight" fan base and aiming for more adult-driven projects like this and the Francis Lawrence-directed "Water for Elephants," which also stars Reese Witherspoon and Christoph Waltz.

Cronenberg just finished filming "A Dangerous Method" with Viggo Mortensen and Michael Fassbender and had a slew of projects on his plate to pursue next, including an "Eastern Promises" sequel he has been trying to get off the ground for some time now.

With Pattinson attached, "Cosmopolis" will more than likely be the next film Cronenberg shoots even though a start date has not been set ye

Robert and Kristen Sport Shorts Heading to Shoot Breaking Dawn Waterfall Scene!

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were back to work on Breaking Dawn in Brazil today. They slipped into shorts, hers tiny and red while he was ready for a swim, as they prepared to film their waterfall scene. Later, the two were spotted on a boat headed back to Paraty where they'll continue shooting for the rest of the week at the gorgeous house serving as their Isle Esme hideaway. The two traveled in style to their secluded locale after spending a couple nights in Rio de Janeiro. Rob and Kristen filmed a steamy kissing scene and shared intimate moments between takes when they arrived in the bustling city to capture Edward and Bella's honeymoon. Both Robert and Kristen earned People's Choice Award nominations earlier today, and the eight Eclipse nods have you all excited for another Twilight-dominated show.

เมื่อเดือน ก.ค. ที่ผ่านมา มีข่าวลือออกมาที่ทำเอาคริสเตน สจ๊วร์ต นักแสดงสาวชื่อดังเกิดอาการหึงหวงเมื่อมีรายงานว่า  โรเบิร์ต แพตตินสัน แฟนหนุ่มทั้งในและนอกจอแอบกุ๊กกิ๊กกับ แอนนา เคนดริก เพื่อนนักแสดงก่อนที่เรื่องดังกล่าวจะเงียบหายไป
      
      และล่าสุดนิตยสาร Heat ได้ออกมารายงานว่า โรเบิร์ต แพตตินสัน กำลังจะร่วมงานในภาพยนตร์เรื่องใหม่กับ เอมม่า วัตสัน เรื่อง Darc Arc ซึ่งข่าวนี้ก็ทำเอาคริสเตนถึงกับนั่งไม่ติดเช่นกัน
      
      เพราะก่อนหน้านี้เองโรเบิร์ต แพตตินสัน ก็เคยออกมาแสดงความเห็นว่าเอมม่านั้นเป็นสาวน่ารัก
      
      โดยแหล่งข่าวระบุว่า"ร็อบเคยพูดว่า เขามองว่าเอมม่าน่ารักมากและคริสเตนเองก็ค่อนข้างกังวลกลัวว่าพวกเขาจะเข้ากันได้ดีเกินไป เพราะทั้งคู่เป็นคนอังกฤษเหมือนกัน"

Ashley Greene and Joe Jonas Power Through Another Date Night

WEDNESDAY

Ashley Greene and Joe Jonas left dinner in LA last night wearing matching white tees and Power Balance wristbands. The pair took their romance out on the town for the second time that day, after stocking up on party supplies for his brother Frankie's birthday. Ashley's been enjoying her downtime with Joe since wrapping LOL with costar Miley Cyrus over the Summer, but soon enough she'll be back to work. Her Twilight castmates are slowly returning to the West Coast before production starts on Breaking Dawn with a few new faces — Kellan Lutz isback home staying in shape and Robert Pattinson just debuted his beard at LAX.

Mackenzie Foy To Play Renesmee in Breaking Dawn

It’s a big day for Twihards. First Maggie Grace signs on to play Irina. Now EW.com has learned that little 9-year old Mackenzie Foy is inches away from signing on to play Renesmee, Edward and Bella’s vampire/human love child that’s a central role in the final installment ofThe Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn.

It’s not yet clear how the diminutive actress, who’s appeared in one episode each of television shows FlashForward and ‘Til Death, will portray the character who ages a full 17 years in only seven. Sources have suggested that director Bill Condon will employ similar digital effects to those used by David Fincher in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, where Foy’s face would be digitally transferred onto the face of a younger child. It’s also probable that the studio will hire a younger child in some capacity, too.

Summit Entertainment is remaining mum on the issue. But to see Foy’s angelic face, which could very well be the offspring of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, check out her web

Ashley Greene Works Up a Sweat and Turns Up the Heat With Joe Jonas

Ashley Greene stayed hydrated with a water bottle and connected with her iPhone 4 yesterday as she headed to her gym in LA. She recently showed off the results of her fitness in the sexy minidress she wore to the VMAs. The awards show was her first major event since returning from Paris, where she worked on LOL with costar Miley Cyrus. Ashley's prepping to return to work on the Twilight series when production commences on Breaking Dawn. She's also had plenty of time to focus on her budding romance with Joe Jonas, which doesn't need much help in the spice department since they were allegedly spotted at a sex shop.

we were at the concert when an hour in he walks in i couldnt believe it my heart went after a few mins we asked for his autograph and he said sure he asked my name and signed it we told him we had sent him a present from our facebook page robert pattinson..its always been him ,and he said he hadnt recieved it yet ,then when we was out side he came out for a cig and a couple of girls asked for photos ,so we asked if we could have one and he said sure ,i said to him im sorry to ask i bet you get sick of people asking you for this and he said its fine and your welcome ,and then we stood about a foot away from him for about 20 min while he watched the gig with his friends and a beer in his hand every one there was really good with him and mostly left him alone when he was inside and he seemed really chilled wow what a night x
